(The Post and Courier July 17,2001) HITCHCOCK, James The relatives and friends of James Thomas "Jim" Hitchcock are invited to attend his funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Thursday afternoon, July 19, 2001, at 3 o'clock. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral chapel this (Wednesday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mr. Hitchcock was born August 14, 1947, in Rochester, N.Y., a son of Donald P. Hitchcock and Virginia Hughes Hitchcock. He attended Pittsford Central High School in Pittsford, N.Y. He was a salesman. Surviving are, his mother, Virginia H. McClain of Pittsford, N.Y.; one brother, John Donald Hitchcock and wife Linda, of Rockport, Texas; two sisters, Joyce A. Hitchcock of Goose Creek, S.C., and Jean Elizabeth Hitchcock of East Rochester, N.Y.; one nephew, Brandon John Hitchcock and wife Kelly, of Wilmington, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 358 Confederate Circle, Charleston, S.C. 29407.
