Hayes, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at a Charleston hospital. Memorial funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2001, at 11 a.m., in GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Burial will be private. She was born May 10, 1923, in Bokoshe, Okla., a daughter of the late Robert Jake Self and Maxie Carter Self. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star. Surviving are, her husband of Georgetown; one brother, Bill Self of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Wanda Garner of Bokoshe, Okla., Lavera Smith of Shady Point, Okla., and Mathilda Leonard of San Jose, Calif.
