Betty Virginia Long Harvey
MONCKS CORNER - Betty Virginia Long Harvey, 44, of Moncks Corner, wife of Denney L. Harvey, 
died Saturday in North Trident Medical Center, North Charleston. The family will receive 
friends until the services Tuesday. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Peeples-Rhoden Funeral 
Home, Hampton. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, near Hampton. Mrs. Harvey was born Feb. 
23, 1957, in Hampton County, a daughter of Nellie Ginn Long and Francis Ray Long Sr. She was a 
homemaker. She was a former member of Nixville Baptist Church, Hampton. She was preceded in 
death by a brother, Robert Lee Long. Surviving are her husband of Moncks Corner; her mother of 
Nixville; two daughters, Jennifer Elizabeth Harvey of Moncks Corner and Denee' Virginia Harvey 
of Moncks Corner; two brothers, Francis Ray Long Jr. of Fairfax and Ronnie Edward Long of 
Nixville.
