Ham, 75, of North Vassalboro passed away Friday, July 27, 2001, at a Waterville, Maine, hospital.She was born on October 11, 1925, in Bridgeton, N.J., a daughter of Harry Albert Hess and Edith (Holder) Ellis. She graduated from Moorestown High School in New Jersey . Marge served as secretary to the superintendent of Rancocas Valley Regional High School, in Mt. Holly, N.J., from 1976 to 1987. She was a certification specialist for the Burlington County Superintendent of schools from 1962 to 1971 and secretary to the principal at Florence L. Walthers Elementary school in Lumberton, N.J., from 1959 to 1962. Marge taught painting in the Rancocas Valley Adult School and enjoyed singing and playing the organ for church services.Marge retired from Rancocas Valley in 1987, moving to Maine in 1993. An avid artist she taught painting classes at the Togus Veteran's home, proofread, wrote articles and illustrated for the Town Line newspaper in addition to serving as reader and vocalist for the Christian Science Society in Waterville.She is predeceased by her husband, George Ham, who died in 1998. She is survived by her mother, Edith Ellis of Medford, N.J.; sons , Glenn Wolfrom and his wife, Judy, of Southampton, N.J., Dale Wolfrom and his wife, Chris of Mt. Holly, N.J.; and Kenneth W. Wolfrom, Jr., and his wife Peggie of Charleston, S.C., her sisters, Edith Wolfrom of Vero Beach, Fla., Carol Robinson of Riverton, N.J., Anne McGlaughlin of Rancocas, N.J., and a brother, Ralph Young and his wife, Mary Lou of Pemberton, N.J., grandchildren, Rebecca, David, Lindsey, Christopher , Robert and two great grandchildren, Mikey and Kimberly.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, July 30, at the REDINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 5 Park St., in Waterville. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Science Society, 5 School St., Waterville, Maine 04901.
