Gibson, beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothy W. Gibson, father of Marc B. 
Gibson, and Heather Gibson-Sowell (Herbert), adopted father of Ronald 
Jackson, grandfather of Braxton Sowell, brother of Maggie Jenkins, 
Albertha Patrick, Marie Gibson, and Annalee Gibson, all of Charleston, 
S.C., Lillie Mae Wilson of New York, (the late Thomasina McKinnon), 
Arthur L. Gibson of New York, Willie Gibson of North Carolina, and 
(the late Nathaniel Gibson). Late residence, 1033 Keats Road,

those of his wife, Mrs. Dorothy W. Gibson, children, Mr. Marc B. Gibson
and Mrs. Heather Gibson-Sowell (Herbert), adopted son, Mr. Ronald 
Jackson (Jean), grandson, Braxton Sowell, sisters, Mrs. Maggie Jenkins
(Willie), Mrs. Albertha Patrick, Ms. Marie Gibson, and Ms. Annalee 
Gibson, all of Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilson (Curtis) of 
New York, (the late Thomasina McKinnon), brothers, Mr. Arthur L. Gibson
(Thelma) of New York, Mr. Willie Gibson (Affie) of North Carolina, and 
the late Nathaniel Gibson (Earnestine), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law
, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives are invited to attend 
his funeral services, Monday, July 16, 2001, at 1 p.m., at St. Philip 
AME Church, 2861 Ashley River Road, Charleston, S.C. Friends may call 
at FIELDING HOME FOR FUNERALS, 122 Logan St., 722-3348, or 
1-800-290-5954. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral 
home on Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. Remains to the church on Monday at 12
