The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2001, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL. Burial with full military honors will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at STUHR'S GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. A native of Swampscott, Mass., he was the son of the late George A. and Eleanor Edson Gainley. He was a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10256, Goose Creek, S.C. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Mattie Jordan Gainley, his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Mamie Gainley of Moncks Corner, and his grandsons, Steven and Jon Gainley.
