Funeral service will be 4 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2001, at the Black River Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery directed by Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Sam Truitt, Rev. Ronnie Floyd and the Rev. Sam Brittleys. Mr. Floyd was born November 16, 1964, in Georgetown County, a son of Jimmy Allen Floyd and Violet Ann Tilton Floyd. He was educated int he Georgetown County Schools. He was a machine operator for Smith Logging Co. He served for seven years in the National Guard. He was a member of Mobley Hunting Club and a member of the Black River Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents of Andrews, are, his wife, Daphine Jordan Floyd of Andrews; one son, Victor Steven Floyd of Andrews; two daughters, Christina F. Walker of Oxnard, Calif.; and Sierra Nicole Floyd of Andrews; one brother, Jimmy Allen Floyd, Jr., of Andrews; one sister, Valarie F. Bourne of Andrews; paternal grandmother, Christine Floyd of Andrews.
