Donald Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Ferrell, 77, died Tuesday, July 10, at his residence. Born in Chester County on May 12, 1924, he was a son of the late George Washing Ferrell and the late Kate (Revels) Ferrell. He was a retired painter with Ferrell’s Painting Contractors and attended Chester County schools. Survivors are two brothers, Roland Ferrell of Myrtle Beach, Sam Ferrell of Chester; and one sister, Elizabeth Powell of Chester. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry King, 529 Ferrell Ave., Chester. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 710 Meadowbrook Road, Chester, S.C. 29706.
