Ferguson, 99 years of age, died Wednesday morning in an Orangeburg hospital. Mrs. Ferguson was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Hampton M. Wannamaker, and Mary Wolfe Wannamaker. She was the oldest living member of the Branchville Baptist Church, retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and was a life-long resident of the Branchville Community. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 11 a.m., from the Chapel of the OTT FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Richard Porter and the Rev. Frank Cone. Family will receive friends one hour before services. Burial will be in the Ott Cemetery in Branchville. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Blanche F. Clayton. Survived by one son, Mr. Ansel "Spang" Ferguson of Cope, two daughters, Mrs. Junelle F. Hill of Lake Murray, and Mrs. Velma F. Inabinet of Columbia, ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Orangeburg.
