Everidge, husband of Foxene Lambert Everidge. Residence, Hanahan, S.C. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry F. Everidge are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2001, at 1 o'clock. Interment following with Masonic rites and full military honors, Dorchester Memory Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL on Tuesday evening, July 24, 2001, between the hours of 6 and 8 o'clock. Mr. Everidge was born on July 26, 1937, in Graceville, Fla., a son of the late E.E. Everidge and Carlie Wise Everidge. Mr. Everidge was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as Chief Petty Officer. His duties included the U.S.S. Helena, Port: Long Beach, Calif.; U.S.S. English, Port: Mayport, Fla.; U.S.S. Joseph P. Kennedy, Port: Newport, R.I.; U.S.S. Amphion, Port, Norfolk, Va.; Mine Force Support Group, Charleston, S.C.; U.S.S. Yellowstone, Port, Charleston, S.C.; and finally retiring while aboard the U.S.S. Hunley, Port: Charleston, S.C. He was a member of Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #401 A.F.M.; John L. Flynn Chapter #277, Order of the Eastern Star; Omar Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite Temple. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Everidge is survived by his wife of 43 and a half years of Hanahan, S.C.; three sons, J. Stanley Everidge and wife, Donna Everidge, Steven F. Everidge and wife, Lisa Everige, and Stuart L. Everidge, all of Goose Creek, S.C.; two sisters, Nadine Johnson of Quincy, Fla., and Sybil McSwain of Graceville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Brittany Everidge of Columbia, S.C., Tara Everidge and Jessie Everidge of North Charleston, S.C., Dillon Everidge, Brandon Everidge, Summer Everidge, Stevie Everidge, Megan Everidge, Robert Everidge, Bret Everidge, and Amber Antley, all of Goose Creek, S.C.; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Pallbearers will be B.J. Graves, Max Bradshaw, Jack Lambert, Dennis Wilson, Tom Thornhill, and Leonard Everidge.
