A native of Clinton, she was a retired textile employee, a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Whitmire, and a member of the Young at Heart Club of Walhalla. She was the widow of Thomas Eugene Eskew, and the daughter of the late George R. and Florence Brown Puckett. Surviving are a son, Cecil Legette of Sanford, Fla., a daughter, Lisa Legette Willis of West Union; brothers, Otis Puckett of Whitmire and J. D. Puckett of Newberry; a sister Ruth English of Whitmire; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Whitmire City Cemetery in Whitmire. Davenport Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
