Elsey, widower of Louise Thomas Elsey. Residence, Charleston, S.C. The relatives and friends of John B. Elsey are invited to attend his graveside services in Bethany Cemetery on Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at 2 o'clock. Friend and family may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, this Monday between 5 and 7 o'clock. Mr. Elsey was born on February 22, 1927, in Charleston, S.C., the son of Allie B. Elsey and Esther Langdale Elsey. He was the retired owner of Elsey Electric Company Electrical Contractors, a member of Fort Johnson Baptist Church, and a United States Naval Veteran of World War II. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Kay Faircloth and her husband, Judge G. Mallon Faircloth, of Columbus, Ga.; one son, Thomas R. Hatchell, Jr., and his wife, Margaret, of Ridgeland, S.C.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Elsey is predceased in death by his brothers, James J.
