The family will receive friends from the home of his nieces and nephew Ursula Mae Sanders, Easter Mae Elam and Sammie Elam, all of Chester. Marsh’s Funeral Home of Baltimore is in charge of funeral arrangements. Complete local funeral arrangements will be announced later by Christopher King’s Funeral Home. Mr. Robert Elam BALTIMORE — The funeral for Mr. Robert Elam, formerly of Chester, will be conducted at noon Friday at March Funeral Home in Baltimore. Mr. Elam died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at the VA Hospital in Baltimore. Survivors are three sons, Robert “Bobby” Elam Jr., Edward Elam and Melvin Elam, all of Baltimore; two daughters, Emily Printer and Shirley Elam, both of Baltimore; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from the home of Ms. Easter Mae Elam, Ursula Elam Sanders and Sammie Elam of Chester.
