Ehrhardt, Jr., 54, will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Final Commendation and Farewell Prayers in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Rosary will be recited at the church Monday at 7 p.m. with visitation until 9 p.m. DUNBAR FUNERAL HOME, DEVINE STREET CHAPEL, is in charge of arrangements.Mr. Ehrhardt died Friday, July 27, 2001. Born in Charleston, he was a son of the late William Craig and Margaret Livingston Ehrhardt. He was a graduate of the Darlington School in Rome, Ga., and Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C. He was employed with XPEDX, formerly Dillard Paper Co., for 30 years where he was a member of the prestigious President's Council and winner of numerous sales awards.Mr. Ehrhardt was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Columbia Touchdown Club, Columbia Tipoff Club and Carolina Dugout Club. He was founding president of Cardinal Newman High School Booster Club and lifelong member and supporter of the Columbia YMCA. He was awarded Man of the Year by the Midlands Chapter of the Notre Dame Booster Club. Mr. Ehrhardt was an avid supporter of youth athletics and local theater .Surviving are, wife, Linda Moorman Ehrhardt; daughters, Sarah L. Ehrhardt of Columbia and Katherine H. Ehrhardt of Charlotte, N.C.; grandson, Wilson Craig Ehrhardt; sister and brothers-in-law, Helen Ehrhardt Clawson, and Robert G. Clawson, Jr., of Charleston; sister, Margaret L. "Sissy" Ehrhardt of Charleston; brother and sister-in-law, Walter L. and Karen P. Ehrhardt of Charleston; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Capital Campaign, YMCA Building Fund or to the Cardinal Newman Booster Club.
