A gathering of family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Tuesday evening between 6:30 and 8:00 o'clock. Burial will be private. Mr. Earwood was born February 5, 1946, in Asheville, N.C., the son of the late Troy Robinson and Dorotha Penland Robinson. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam era. He retired with the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Rigger. He is survived by a son, Robert L. Earwood, Jr., and his wife Jill M. of Asheville, N.C.; a daughter, Crystal Lee Earwood of Charleston, S.C.; one stepdaughter, Amie R. Johnston of North Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, James H. Earwood and Troy L. Robinson, Jr., both of Weaverville, N.C.; one granddaughter, Haley M. Earwood of Asheville, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1941 Savage Road, Suite #200, Charleston, S.C. 29407.
