Mrs. Dupree was born in Colleton County, June 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Barney Bessinger and Alma Gohagan Bessinger. She had retired from the Estill Office of South Carolina Electric and Gas Company as their Office Manager. She had also worked with the Hampton County School District, the South Carolina Highway Department (License Sales) and the Lawton Oil Company in Estill. She was a member of the Hampton First Baptist Church, and was married to the late Sidney Lanier Dupree, Sr. Surviving are, one daughter, Darlene D. Fuller of Hollywood, S.C., one sister, Nona Carter of Ruffin; and two grandchildren, Zackary and Chance Fuller of Hollywood. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday in the Hampton First Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Greg Clements, with burial in the Lawtonville Cemetery in Estill directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME IN HAMPTON. Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, and Wednesday morning until 10 a.m. when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services.
