Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. By order of: Tanya Richburg, President Tammie Hoffman, Secretary (The Post and Courier July 12, 2001) DROZE, Tommie Tommie Lee Droze, 76, of Folly Beach, died Wednesday, July 11, at her residence. Born in Miami, Fla., to the late Watson and Evonna Maria Mobley Scott. Mrs. Droze was married to the late Edwin "Bubba" Droze. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 445, the American Legion Post 147, and was a Lutheran. Her sister, Vivilee Boulds predeceased her. Mrs. Droze is survived by a daughter, Terri Griffin of Folly Beach. The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Funeral services will be Friday, July 13, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the VFW Post 445, Building Fund, 1639 Camp Road, James Island, S.C. 29412, or the Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Ave., Charleston, S.C. 29405.
