TITLE: Margaret McWatters Douglas SOURCE: The New and Reporter, June 5, 2001 SUBMITTED: The News and Reporter FORMATTED: Kim Grissom, June 2001 *********************************************************************** Mrs. Margaret McWatters Douglas BLACKSTOCK — The funeral for Mrs. Margaret Douglas of 2657 Shannon Road, Blackstock, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at Catholic Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Forrest Musselman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joel Rhyner. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Douglas, 83, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Lancaster Convalescent Center in Lancaster. Born in Fort Lawn on Oct. 3, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Scott McWatters and the late Betty Kirkpatrick (McCarley) McWatters. She was the widow of Robert William Douglas. A graduate of Blackstock High School, Mrs. McWatters was a homemaker and was a member of Old Catholic Presbyterian Church. Survivors are three daughters, Etta Mae Douglas West of Lancaster, Margaret Douglas Hunter and Grace Douglas Boyd, both of Blackstock; a son, Robert W. Douglas Jr. of Blackstock; a sister, Jessie McWatters Bagley of Blackstock; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Mae McWatters McDill. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home.
