Virginia Elizabeth White Dorman, 79, of Valmar Dr., Pinopolis, SC, a former administrative assistant at Santee Cooper, died Friday in a local nursing home. The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Graveside in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. Interment will follow. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18, 2001. Mrs. Dorman was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Columbia, SC, a daughter of Joseph Rogers White and Jamie Woods White. She is the widow of L. Parris Dorman. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Moncks Corner. She was a graduate of Columbia High School and Columbia Business College. Surviving are, two sons, David P. Dorman of Moses Lake, Wa, and Mark R. Dorman of Pinopolis, one brother, Roger White of Charlotte, NC and three grandchildren, Alex-zander Dorman, Carrie Dorman, and Sarah Elizabeth Dorman.
