Rite of Commendation and Farewell will be held Thursday, July 19, 2001, at 2 o'clock, in Carolina Memorial Gardens, Charleston, S.C. A Memorial Mass will be held 9 o'clock, Friday morning July 20, 2001, at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, Summerville, S.C. Mr. Dober was born February 24, 1932, in Seneca Falls, N.Y., a son of the late Anthony M. Dober and Frances Szablak Dober. He was a graduate of Seneca Falls High School in New York. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Ladson VFW Post 3433. He was a retired supervisor for General Electric. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.
