Dr. Dwight Pearson, the Rev. Jesse Heggler and the Rev. Oscar Burdette officiated. Mrs. Dixon, 95, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at her daughter’s home. Born in Chester County on Oct. 26, 1905, Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of the late Robert Brice McDill and the late Ella Robinson McDill. A graduate of Chester High School, she was a member of Chester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and was associated with Ehrlich’s Flower Shop for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sara Pressley of Rock Hill; a sister Mrs. Eloise McKeown of Blackstock; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Dixon Sr. Memorials may be made to Hospice of York County, 325 South Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, S.C. 29730 or to Chester A.R.P. Church, P.O.
