  DEWITT, Warren
Walterboro - Warren Dewitt, 41, of 84 Oswald Court died Tuesday. 
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday at the Chapel of the 
BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in 
Glendale Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Dewitt was born in Colleton County, a 
son of Eugene Dewitt and Jennie Harwell Dewitt. He was a Meat Cutter 
and attended Northside Christian Church. Surviving in addition to his 
mother of Summerville and his father of Walterboro are his wife, Kay 
Avant Dewitt, a son, Shannon Dewitt of the home, brothers, Chet Dewitt 
of Moncks Corner and Dwight Dewitt of Summerville, a sister, Jenean 
Beard of Denver, Colorado, and paternal grandmother, Ellen Dewitt of 
Walterboro. Friends may call from 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the BRICE 
W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME.  (The Post and Courier July 12, 2001)
