DANIELS, JR., John
John E. Daniels, Jr., 60, husband of Barbara H. Daniels of Moncks 
Corner, S.C., died Saturday, July 28, 2001, at his residence. The 
relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Daniels, Jr., are invited
to attend the funeral services of the former, Tuesday, July 31, 2001, 
in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, at 11 o'clock. Entombment 
will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's
Northwoods Chapel, Monday evening, July 30, 2001, from 6 until 8 
o'clock. Mr. Daniels was born in Summerville, S.C., a son of the late 
John Edwards Daniels, Sr., and Susie Winter Daniels Smith. He was a 
Licensed Contractor and owner and operator of JED Construction Company.
He attended Cathedral of Praise and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He 
is survived by his wife, Barbara H. Daniels of Moncks Corner, S.C., his
mother, Susie D. Smith of Ladson, S.C., three daughters, Donna Kay 
Daniels and her fiancee, William Penn of Summerville, S.C., Elizabeth 
Ruth Daniels and her fiancee, Todd Floyd of Charleston, S.C., Lori G. 
Hinson and her husband Marcus of Goose Creek, S.C., two sons, John 
Daniels, III, of Goose Creek, S.C., James Lee Gilliam and his fiancee, 
Gina Gooding of Goose Creek, S.C., three sisters, Sherry Tucker and her
husband, Skeeter of Summerville, S.C., Sue Thrower and her husband, 
Henry of Summerville, S.C., and Joyce King and her husband, Clyde of 
Ladson, S.C. He was also the loving grandfather of four grandchildren, 
Donna Marie Daniels, John Edwards Daniels, IV, Corie Lee Gilliam and 
James Cale Gilliam, all of Goose Creek, S.C. Flowers accepted or 
memorials may be made to MUSC Hollings Oncology Center, 171 Ashley 
Ave., Charleston, S.C. 29245. (The Post and Courier July 30, 2001)
