COLLINS, SR., Robert Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 26, 2001, Mr. Robert Lee 
Collins, Sr., 56, of Atlantic Beach, Fla., formerly of Charleston, S.C., and a graduate of 
Burke High School, Class of 1960. His Home-Going Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2001, 
in New Friendship Baptist Church at 12 noon, located at 28 Dudley St., Atlantic Beach, Fla. Rev. 
Marvin Nash, Pastor. Interment, Beaches Memorial Gardens. He leaves to cherish his memories his 
beloved wife, Gwendolyn, a loving daughter. Sherry Collins Washington (Tony) of Goose Creek, 
S.C., sons, Robert L. Collins, Jr., of Charleston, S.C, Ervin Vernard Collins (Miriam), and 
Javon Philander Collins; two step-sons, two step-daughters, brothers, Edward and James Collins 
of Charleston, S.C., one sister, Ethel Collins of New York, N.Y., aunt Evelyn Brown of Johns 
Island, S.C., Uncle Kitt Bishop of Charleston, S.C., many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hand Ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, 
28 Dudley Street, Atlantic Beach, Fla. 32233, or Community of Hospice of NE FL Inc., 4266
