David was born Monday, October 5,1955, in Charleston the son of Daniel C.J. and Betty Parker Coleman. He attended St. Andrew's High School and was an original member of "The Stono Gang." He liked to fish and was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his father of Charleston; a son, Robert B. Coleman of Charleston; four sisters, Peggy C. Queen of Gaffney, SC and Kathleen C. Smith of Taunton, Mass., three brothers, Daniel C. Coleman, Jr., of North Charleston, D. Kevin Coleman of Ridgeville, SC, and Martin P. Coleman of Austin, TX. The relatives and friends of David B. Coleman are invited to attend his funeral service Monday, July 9, 2001, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, at a time to be announced. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
