TITLE: Issac Caldwell SOURCE: The New and Reporter, June 5, 2001 SUBMITTED: The News and Reporter FORMATTED: Kim Grissom, June 2001 *********************************************************************** Mr. Issac ‘Bubba’ Caldwell Sr., 74 RICHBURG — The funeral for Mr. Issac “Bubba” Caldwell Sr. of 4684 Gaston Caldwell Road, Richburg, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Loving Charity Baptist Church in Richburg with the Rev. W.J. Baxter officiating and the Revs. Moses Hayes and Oliver Royal assisting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Caldwell, 74, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at his home. Born on Aug. 9, 1926, in Chester County, he was the son of the late Rev. Moses Caldwell and Lillian Raleigh Caldwell. He was a member of Loving Charity Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He attended the public schools of Chester County and was retired from Darby’s Well Drilling Co. Survivors include his wife, Allea Simpson Caldwell; a son, Issac Caldwell, Jr. of the home; three daughters, Eliza Ann Colvin, Margie (Robert) Williams and Mary C. Stallworth, all of Richburg; a brother, Joe Caldwell of Concord, N.C.; a sister, Laura Caldwell of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Simpson of Richburg and Levester (Willie Bell) Simpson of Great Falls; two sisters-in-law, Edna Simpson of Chester and Annie Mae Simpson of Richburg; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence. The body may be viewed Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.
