Pilgrim Baptist Church, Salters, S.C. Reverend S.A. Green, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Salters Cemetery, Salters, S.C. DIMERY AND ROGERS FUNERAL HOME IN KINGSTREE is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Burgess, age 44, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 2, 2001, after injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born in Salters, S.C., on December 5, 1956, a daughter of Mrs. Ruther Dell McGee Burgess and the late Mr. Thomas Burgess. She was a 1975 graduate of Williamsburg Technical College. She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church and was a church usher. Mrs. Burgess was employed as a Home Aide Health Care Nurse with Georgetown County. She was also formerly employed with Andrews Apparel. Loved ones who will cherish her memory are, one son, Mr. Antonio Burgess (Stephanie) of Andrews, S.C.; two daughters, Ms. LaToya Burgess and Little Miss Emeral Burgess, both of Andrews, S.C.; mother, Mrs. Ruther Dell Burgess of Salters, S.C.; grandmother, Mrs. Jannie Graham of Salters, S.C.; five brothers, Mr. Bruce Burgess (Genevieve) of Kingstree, S.C., Mr. Thomas Burgess (Shirley) of Greensboro, N.C., Mr. Charles Burgess of Charlotte N.C., Mr. George Burgess (Shirley) of Salters, S.C., and Reverend Michael Burgess (Beverly) of Andrews, S.C.; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Salters (Marion) of Salters, S.C., Mrs. Sarah Burgess of Salters, S.C., and Mrs. Laura Gamble, Md., and Mrs. Carolyn Burgess of New York; grandmother, Mrs. Jannie Graham of Salters, S.C., a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives and dear friends .(The Post and Courier July 5,2001) *********************************************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commerical individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
