Elijah J. Burgess - Westminster - Elijah James Burgess, infant son of 
Phillip Gerald, Jr. and April Vanessa Burton Burgess, of 160 Smith 
Dairy Road, died June 25, 2001 in the Anderson Area Medical Center.  
The parents attend Earles Grove Baptist Church.  Mrs. Burgess is a 
nurse with Oconee Memorial Hospital and MR. Burgess is employed with 
Michelin.  In addition to his parents, survivors include grandparents, 
Phil and Jenny Burgess of Westminster and Shirley Burton of Westminster
; great-grandparents, Joan G. Smith of Westminster, and Elmer and 
Eleanor Oliver of West Union.  In addition, he was predeceased by a 
grandfather, Charles Randy Burton, great-grandfather Joe Smith, and 
Great-grandparents Joyce and Louise Burgess.  Graveside services were 
held Wednesday, June 27, from the Earles Grove Baptist Church Cemetery,
conducted by the Reverend Kenny Owens.  Memorials may be made to Earles
Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 398 Cedar Lane Road, Westminster, 
29693 (July 4, 2001)
