She was a daughter of the late Mr. Reddick and Thelma Ruger Richardson. She retired as a Human Resource Staff Manager from BellSouth after 35 years and was a very dedicated, loyal employee and friend. She was predeceased by brothers Leonard and Stanley Richardson. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Seward Brown; sisters, Lois Richardson, Jacquelyn Richardson, and Cathy R. Martin; brother, Reddick Richardson; sisters-in-law, Doris and Barbara Richardson; step-children, Seward Brown, III, Tracy Brown, Racquel Dobbs and an adopted son, Vincer Johnson, Jr. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church, Columbia, S.C., with interment in the Bush River Memorial Gardens.
