Brown, 67, of North Charleston, wife of William D. Brown, died Monday in a Charleston hospital. Funeral service will be held Wednesday , July 18, 2001, at 12 o'clock in James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 205, Columbia, S.C. 29204. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening. She was born December 5, 1933, a daughter of the late Cole Parr and Julia Parr of Ladson, S.C. She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are, her husband, William D. Brown of North Charleston; mother, Julia Parr of Ladson; son, Gregg Brown of Summerville; daughter, Linda B. Owens of Summerville; sister, Betty Morillo of Ladson; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, William "Scott" Brown and her daughter, Debra Kaye Brown.
