Mr. Brown is also survived by brothers, James Brown, Summerville, S.C., Jessie Brown, Gibson, Fla., Joseph Brown and Donnie Brown, both of Ladson, S.C., and sisters, Patricia Brown and Maria McKenzie of Hanahan, S.C. He was the step-brother of Brian Gambrell and Laylon Gambrell, Jr., of Summerville, S.C., Mark Gambrell of Seymore, Ind., and Sherry Gambrell of Donalds, S.C. He was a member of Grace Family Worship Church in Ladson, S.C. Visitation will be Saturday, July 28, 2001, at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek, S.C., from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2001, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.
