WALTERBORO - Mrs. Catherine Brown, 78, died on Sunday, June 24, 2001, 
at a Charleston hospital. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 
for Monday, July 2, 2001, at 11 a.m., at St. James the Greater Catholic
Church in Catholic Hill, S.C. Burial directed by MAREE TRACY FUNERAL 
HOME will be in St. James Church Cemetery.She leaves to cherish her 
memories, two daughters, Ann Mitchell (Charles) and Gloria Brown-Bright
(Herman), both of Walterboro, S.C.; three sons, William F. Brown, Jr. 
(Dianne) of Springfield, Mass., Foster D. Brown (Shirley) of Bronx, N.Y
., and Lewis Brown of Bronx, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren, eight great 
grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
