2001, Mrs. Thelma Brinkley, beloved mother of Robert Lee Brinkley, 
Dwayne Brinkley, Franchetta Brinkley, Sonya Brinkley Johnson and Aaron 
Brinkley Johnson, all of North Carolina. Beloved daughter of Mrs. 
Geneva Holmes and the late Rev. Hezekiah Holmes. Late residence, Elroy 
Road (Parkers Ferry Section of) Adams Run, S.C. Funeral notice later.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Thelma H. Brinkley and those of her
husband, Mr. Robert J. Brinkley, Jr., her devoted friend, Mr. Arthur 
Johnson; children, Robert Lee Brinkley, Dwayne Brinkley, Franchetta 
Brinkley, Sonya Brinkley Johnson and Aaron Brinkley Johnson; her 
grandchildren, all of North Carolina; mother, Mrs. Geneva M. Holmes; 
father, the late Rev. Hezekiah Holmes, Sr., sisters, Mrs. Carrie Brown,
Mrs. Albertha Middleton, Ms. Evelyn Holmes, all of Charleston County, 
Missionary Geneva Curry, Rockwell, NC., and Minister Lillie Holmes, 
Walterboro, SC., brothers, Mr. Jerry Holmes, Mr. Benjamin Holmes, Mr. 
Hezekiah Holmes, Jr., Mr. Willie J. Holmes, Mr. Esau D. Holmes, and Mr.
Wayne J. Holmes, all of Charleston County, aunt, uncles, nieces, 
nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends are invited to attend 
her funeral services Saturday, July 28, 2001, 1 PM at Shiloh Baptist 
Church, 6629 Parkers Ferry Road, Parkers Ferry, SC. Rev. Robert Heyward
, officiating. Interment: Greater St. Mark AME Church Cemetery. 
Remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 12 Noon until 
the hour of service. Family and friends may call/visit WALKER'S
