Walhalla - Virginia Ann Baxter, 62, of 120 Autumnwood Lane, died 
Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  A native of 
Louisville, Ky., she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.  
She was the daughter of the late Odell Rider and Katherine Dale Baxter.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary H. Carver of Sunset; sisters, Evelyn 
Blackwell of Westminster, Kathy Dale of Walhalla, Shirley Beaver of 
Belton and Hazel Head of Fair Play; brothers, Richard Dale of Pendleton
and John Dale of Belton, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Davenport Funeral Home Chapel
, with burial in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
