Pleasant, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 4, 2001. The funeral services will be 2 o'clock, Friday, July 6, 2001, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of service on Friday. A native of Commerce, Ga., she was the daughter of Rev. M. Clyde Smith and Eula Brigman Smith. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Baxter D. Barwick, her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Thelma Salisbury of Summerville, a daughter, Tanya Browder of Goose Creek, three sisters, Ann Sherfinsky and Sandra Williams of Moncks Corner, Betty Boatright of Waynesboro, Ga., two brothers, Ray Smith of Piedmont, S.C., and Dean Smith of Rome, Ga. She is also survived by grandchildren, Reda Salisbury, Jerry Lee Salisbury, Michael Browder, Jr., Joseph Browder, Hunter Holmes and a great-grandson, Tyler Salisbury.
