Memorial services will be Thursday, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Summerville. Burial will be in he church cemetery, directed by JAMES A. DYAL FUNERAL HOME OF SUMMERVILLE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 111 Waring St., Summerville, S.C. 29483. He was born September 9, 1907, in River Rouge, Mich., a son of the late Israel C. Barron and Agnes Clophe Pitre Barron. He was a 30-year at-large veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving in Dearborn, Mich. He was a retired automobile salesman. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Surviving are, wife, Elaine J. Barron of Summerville, S.C.; step-son, Thomas Joseph Brandon of Ravenel, S.C.; step-daughter, Patricia Bentley of Boyne City, Mich.; grandson, Jason James Brandon of Ravenel, S.C.; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.
