A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, in Carolina Memorial Gardens, directed by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Born in New Westminster, B.C., he was the son of Dennis Wallace Barkley and Catherine Marciniak Barkley. Mr. Barkley was a member of the U.S. Golf Association. Survivors include his parents of Chilliwack, B.C.; a brother, Lee Barkley of Victoria, B.C.; sisters, Carol Barkley of Penticton, B.C., Joanne Barkley of Chilliwack , B.C., and Angela Barkley of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Timberland High School Golf Program, Gravel Hill Road St. Stephen, S.C.
