AULD, JR., Issac Dennis Auld, Jr., 78, a retired forest research 
technician with U.S. Forest Service, died at his home on Friday, July 
13, 2001. The memorial service will be 4 o'clock, Sunday, July 15, 2001
, in the Old Christ Episcopal Church, 2304 Highway 17 North, Mount 
Pleasant. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery. The family 
will receive friends this evening (Saturday) from 6 until 8 p.m. at J. 
HENRY STUHR, INC., MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL.Born in Greensboro, N.C., he 
was the son of I.D. Auld, Sr., and Agnes Holbrook Ashley Auld. A Navy 
veteran of World War II, he was a 1951 agricultural education graduate
of Clemson University. He served 34 years with the Department of 
Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service. He was a member of the Church of the 
Holy Cross, Sullivan's Island. His personal interests included 
gardening, horticulture, and he was an active volunteer with the 
Lowcountry MS Support Group.Mr. Auld is survived by his wife of 50 
years, Barbara "Bobbie" Nuite Auld, his daughter and son-in-law, 
Marilyn and Sam Gasque of Flat Rock, N.C., his sisters, Jean Auld 
Marshall of Campobello, S.C., and Mrs. J.B. (Clara) Stokley of 
Wilmington, N.C., as well as several nieces and nephews.In lieu of 
flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to: Lowcountry 
Multiple Sclerosis Support Group, 4336 Waterview Circle, North 
Charleston, S.C. 29418; or Lutheran Hospice, Suite 100, 753 Johnny 
Dodds Blvd., Mount Pleasant, S.C. 29464; or Christ Church Cemetery 
Endowment Fund, 2304 Highway 17 North, Mount Pleasant, S.C. 29464.
