Andrews ROANOKE, Va. - Evelyn B. Andres, 84, of The Park Oak Grove, Roanoke, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at her residence. Memorial services will be at 2 today in College Evangelical Lutheran Church, Salem, Va. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Mrs. Andres was born Aug. 4, 1916, in Logansport, Ind., a daughter of Oscar Brandt and Florence Anderson Brandt. A graduate of Indiana Business College, she served as an editor at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio from 1940-1949. She was active for many years as a Girl Scout Leader and home room mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert F. Andres. Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Linda Krell; a son, Retired Lt. Col. Paul Andres of Beaufort; and six grandchildren. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to College Evangelical Lutheran Church, College Avenue, Salem, VA 24153 or to the charity of one's choice. John M.
