Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Sidney A. Jones Funeral Home, 124 West Park Ave., Savannah. The body will lie in state at the church 9 a.m. until the hour of the service. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in True Gospel Deliverance Center, 1050 West 36th St., Savannah with burial in Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Mr. Davis was born June 4, 1940, in Savannah, a son of Clara Davis and Ronnie Arkwright. He was a supervisor with the City of Savannah. He was a member of True Gospel Deliverance Center. Survivors include his mother, Clara Davis of Savannah; his wife, Gladys L. Davis of Savannah; four daughters, Cora J. Wiley of Seabrook, Valerie D. Bynes of Atlanta, Brenda Dunham of New York City and Patricia Dunham of Atlanta; three sons, Albert James Davis Jr., Carl Kerry Williams and James Vincent Davis, all of Savannah; four sisters, Bertha Butler and Johnnie Mae Davis, Marjorie Ann Whittaker, all of Savannah and Catherine Lloyd; four brothers, Wilbert Davis and Kizer Davis, both of Savannah, Prince Davis of Springfield, Ga., and Carl Davis of Augusta, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren.
