Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2001, at Summerville Baptist Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be held at Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home, Summerville, SC, this Wednesday evening from 6-8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Mrs. Reid was born on March 30, 1956, in Gaffney, SC, a daughter of L. Edward Simmons and Barbara Kirby Simmons. She graduated from Gaffney High School. She was a homemaker and member of Summerville Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Summerville Public Schools. She was past president of Carolina Independent Auto Dealers Auxillary.
