Graveside funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Etheridge officiating. Visitation will be at her home Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Wimberly was born July 4, 1923, in Branchville, a daughter of the late Claude P. Myers and Lessie Thompson Myers. She was a member of Prospect Southern Methodist Church and she attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of S.C. Farm Bureau. Surviving are, her husband, Joseph Wendell Wimberly, Reevesville, S.C., four sons, Joseph Wendell (Boley) Wimberly, Jr., Rowesville, S.C., Fred P. Wimberly, Columbia, SC, Paul W. Wimberly and Mark R. (Ske-Bo) Wimberly both of Reevesville. Two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Postell, Okeechobee, Fla., Mrs. Jimmy (Kay) Fender, Reevesville, S.C. Two sisters, Mrs. Lula Alice "Boots" Walters, Charleston, S.C. and Eugenia Ott, Branchville, S.C. There are 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Prospect Southern Methodist Church, Bowman, SC 29018 or charity of one's choice.
