McGOWAN, Anne Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 3, 
2001, Anne Pauline Isgette McGowan, widow of William Oliver McGowan, 
Jr. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited 
to attend her funeral services Sunday, August 5, 2001 at 3 o'clock in 
J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Interment: Magnolia Cemetery. 
Friends may call at STUHR'S DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Saturday between 5 and 7 
o'clock. Mrs. McGowan was born August 19, 1907 in Cottageville, SC., 
the daughter of Robert Franklin Isgette and Margaret Ackerman Isgette. 
She was a retired telephone operator with Roper Hospital. She was a 
member of Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church.She is survived by 
a son: William O. McGowan, III of Wando, SC., a daughter: Carolyn M. 
Horton of Charlotte, N.C., 4 grandchildren, James Randall McInnis, 
Julie Anne McInnis, Courtney Kristine McGowan, Jennifer Christine Duke,
2 sisters: Mary I. Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida and Marie I. 
Pettersen of Charleston, SC., a nephew, Dr. Philip A. McGowan of 
Charleston, SC., and several other nieces and nephews.Flowers will be 
accepted or memorials may be made to Asbury-St. James United Methodist 
Church, 754 Rutledge Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403. (The Post and
