Houser, husband of Marguerite Parnelle Houser. Residence , James Island, S.C. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside services of the former in Old St. Andrew's Parish Episcopal Churchyard on Monday, August 6, 2001, at 11 o'clock. Friends and family may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, this Sunday between 5 and 7 o'clock.Mr. Houser was born in Barton, S.C., on December 11, 1917, the son of Claude H. Houser and Jennie Peterman Houser. He was of the Methodist faith, a retired construction superintendent with Stier, Kent and Canady, a United States Air Force veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post #147. He is survived by his wife of James Island, S.C.; one son, Claude W. Houser of Summerville, S.C.; two daughters, Richie H. Evitt and Linda H. Robinson, both of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren; one sister, Harriet H. Ellis of Martin, S.C.; and one brother, Ralph W. Houser of James Island, S.C.
