Katie A. Healey, 63, of North Charleston, wife of Edward William Healey
 died Thursday morning in a North Charleston hospital.Funeral services 
will be held Monday, August 6, 2001, at 11 o'clock in First Free Will 
Baptist Church. Burial will be in Dorchester Memory Gardens, 
Summerville.Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville
, from 5 until 7 o'clock on Sunday evening.Flowers will be accepted or 
memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite
504, North Charleston, S.C. 29406, or Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds
Ave., Charleston, S.C. 29405.Born on November 12, 1937, in Worten, W.Va.
, a daughter of the late Lawrence William Stevens and Louvain Willie 
West Stevens. She was a graduate of West Virginia schools. She was a 
homemaker and a peacemaker. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist
Church, North Charleston.Surviving are, husband, Edward William Healey 
of North Charleston; three daughters, Karen Healey of Charleston, 
Teresa Wheat of Round O, Jean Healey of Ridgeville; two sons, James 
Healey of Charleston, Daniel Healey of Charleston; four grandchildren,
Kelly Black of Summerville, Robin Black of Summerville, Katie Healey 
of Ridgeville, Emily Sackman of Charleston; two great grandchildren, 
Bret and Gracie Black of Summerville.Arrangements by JAMES A. DYAL
