Charleston, died Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Born September 5, 1925, in Lake City, he was a son of the late Davis and Ethel Bennett Frye. He was a retired maintenance mechanic at CB North. He served in W.W.II with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Frye attended the Church of God of Prophecy in North Charleston. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Miles Frye; a daughter, Madeline Carroll Burbage, of Summerville; sons, Dennis Arnold Frye of Goose Creek and Tony Allen Frye of Summerville; sisters, Letha Clayton of Columbia and Betty Gean Baxley of Lake City; a brother, Charles Frye of Georgetown, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of N. Charleston, 3896 Leeds Ave., Charleston, S.C. 29406.
