Born in Oconee County on February 12, 1935, Mrs. Burrell was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Church of God where she was Sunday School Secretary. She was a member of Benevolence Committee, active member in Ladies Ministry and an avid supporter of Calvary Church of God Youth. Survivors include husband, Ray Burrell of the home; sons Doug R. Burrell of Westminster; daughter Cindy Hudson and husband Danny of Westminster; brothers, Gene, Richard, Ray, and David Taylor all of Westminster, and Arnold Taylor of Seneca; sisters, Lois Woodall, Bertie Butts, and Kay Rowland, of Westminster, and Peggy Hooper of Walhalla; 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Lauren Hudson; 12 nieces, 8 nephews, and12 great nephews. Mrs. Burrell was the daughter of the late Bruce Taylor and Loma Wilbanks Taylor Rholetter and was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Taylor, James Taylor and Charles Taylor. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Friday April 21,2000 at Calvary Church of God with the Reverends Dan Faulkenberry and Bryan Belotte officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm on Thursday. The family is at the residence. Flowers are accepted and or memorials may be made to Calvary Church of God Youth Fund, 10102 Long Creek Hwy, Westminster, SC. Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster in charge of arrangements.
