Born in Walhalla, he was retired from Clemson University, was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church and was a U. S. Air Force World War II veteran. Survivors include his widow, Martha Moore Addis, of the home; brother, Calvin Addis of Seneca; sisters, Jeanette Brucke of Walhalla, Nelda Medlin of West Union and Virginia Welch of Dahlonega, Ga. He was the son of the late Arthur Milton and Neoma Lusk Addis. Services were Wednesday at Davenport Funeral Home chapel by Dr. James A. Kirkpatrick and the Rev. James Mizell; burial followed in the Oconee Memorial Park.
