Lena Alice Abbott (1903 to 3-15-1991) Keowee Courier March 20, 1991 
Lena Abbott Lena Alice Abbott, 88, of Walhalla, died Friday, March 15, 
1991, at Lila Doyle Nursing Care Facility, Seneca. Born in Oconee 
County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob David and Lula Elizabeth
Blanchett Abbott. She was a Baptist and was a retired civil servant. 
Surviving is a sister, Florine A. Jaynes of Cedartown, Ga. Graveside 
services were Monday at Oconee Memorial Park by the Rev. Wes Murphy. 
Davenport Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Contributed by: Susan
