Obituary from Anderson Independent Westminster - Minnie RAMEY 
Minnie Belle CARVER RAMEY, 67, of Route 1, Townville, formerly of 
Westminster, widow of Este Dillard RAMEY, died Oct 16, 1988 at Oconee 
Memorial Hospital. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the 
late Leonard and Essie RAMEY CARVER. She was a homemaker and a member 
of Clearmont Baptist Church. Surviving are sons: Dan W. RAMEY of El 
Paso, Texas, Alton RAMEY of Oakway, and Carol RAMEY of Westminster; 
daughter Mrs. Jack (Peggy) RHODES of Townville; sisters, Mrs. Beulah 
RAMEY of Westminster, Mrs. Drucilla METCALF of Mt. Rest; seven 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild. The family is at the home of a 
daughter Peggy RHODES, Timberlake 2, Townville. Funeral arrangements 
will be announced by the Sandifer Funeral Home, Westminster.
